Prof Dr Bernd Banke held a full-time professorship for Business Law and Business Ethics at the ESB Business School / Reutlingen University. He now is an emeritus of his university. In his capacity as the Ethics Officer of the university he has been teaching Business ethics and CSR classes for more than 20 years. Besides legal publications he has been publishing on Ethics in Business and Public Services.

Business Ethics – isn't that a contradiction in itself? This according to my experiences probably is the question having been asked most during seminars, presentations and discussions. And it still is the silliest one at the same time! Looking at the roots of our current economic system, students of this seminar will realise that the opposite is or (better) should be the case during the very beginning of the lessons. But why is it so complicated then? Why are we confronted with all these dilemmas in everyday business life? This seminar helps students finding answers on these urgent and for the individual painful questions
